Youth Grief Support

Support for Children and Teens Navigating Grief

We provide peer-based support groups for children and teens who have experienced significant loss, including the death of a parent or loved one. Our programs create a safe, supportive environment where young people can share their experiences, connect with peers who understand, and begin to heal together.

Elementary Grief Support Groups

Healing Hearts Circle provides peer support groups for children who have experienced the loss of a loved one. Groups are organized by developmental stage so children can connect with peers their own age, in a supportive age appropriate environment.

Younger Group: Kindergarten – 2nd Grade

Older Group: 3rd – 5th Grade

Through play, art, conversation, and guided activities, children are supported in expressing their feelings and begin the healing process.

Important Note

Life After Grief provides peer-based support groups and community connection for children and teens navigating grief after the significant loss, including the death of someone important in their lives. Our programs are designed to offer a safe space for participants to share experiences, build connections, and feel understood by others who have experienced loss.

Life After Grief does not provide therapy or clinical counseling. Our programs are not a substitute for professional mental health services. If a child or family may benefit from individual counseling, we are happy to help connect families with licensed therapists and trusted resources within the community.

Our goal is to ensure that every child and family receives the support that best meets their needs.
